Waste water treatment for selective ion exchangers

Selective ion exchange and wastewater treatment

Selective ion exchangers are ion exchangers that selectively remove heavy metals dissolved in clear water. The demanding and complex regeneration of selective ion exchangers requires a separate wastewater treatment plant.

The EnviroFALK regeneration center has numerous stacking tanks, extensive batch treatment tanks and sludge tanks.

The sludge produced is dewatered using chamber filter presses. The resulting clear water is then discharged into the municipal sewer system via selective exchanger lines. Naturally in accordance with the Water Resources Act (WHG).
